Wijziging van de Overeenkomst van 23 januari 2001 tussen het Koninkrijk België en de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea inzake het aanknopen van Diplomatieke en Consulaire betrekkingen

Amendment to the Agreement of 23rd of January 2001, relating to the establishment of Diplomatic and Consular relations between the Kingdom of Belgium and the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea Referring to paragraph 3 of the Agreement between the Kingdom of Belgium and the Democratic People' s republic of Korea relating to the establishment of Diplomatic and Consular relations of 23 January 2001, according to which the origin of co-accreditation can be changed by mutual consent, The kingdom of Belgium and the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea have agreed to the following : Article 1er. In paragraph 3 and 4 of the abovementioned Agreement, the word « Stockholm » is replaced by the word « Berlin ».

Paragraph 3 reads as follows : Non-resident Ambassadors shall be accredited. The Kingdom of Belgium shall accredit its resident Ambassador in Seoul; the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea shall accredit its resident Ambassador in Berlin. The origin of coaccreditation can be changed by mutual consent.

Paragraphg 4 reads as follows : The Embassy personnel shall be accredited, for the Kindom of belgium, from Seoul ans for the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea, from Berlin. The two States reserve the possibility of accrediting diplomats residing in other capitals of the region.

Wijziging van de Overeenkomst van 23 januari 2001 tussen het Koninkrijk België en de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea inzake het aanknopen van Diplomatieke en Consulaire betrekkingen Met verwijzing naar het derde lid van de Overeenkomst van 23 januari 2001 tussen het Koninkrijk België en de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea inzake het aanknopen van Diplomatieke en Consulaire betrekkingen, waarin wordt bepaald dat de plaats van accreditatie kan worden gewijzigd met wederzijdse toestemming.

Zijn het Koninkrijk België en de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea het volgende overeengekomen :

Artikel 1.In het derde en vierde lid van bovengenoemde Overeenkomst, wordt « Stockholm » vervangen door « Berlijn ».

Het derde lid luidt als volgt : er zullen niet-residerende ambassadeurs worden geaccrediteerd.

Het Koninkrijk België acrrediteert zijn Ambassadeur in Seoul; de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea accrediteert haar Ambassadeur in Berlijn. De plaats van accreditatie kan worden gewijzigd met wederzijdse toestemming.

Het vierde lid luidt als volgt : het ambassadepersoneel word voor het Koninkrijk België vanuit Seoul geaccrediteerd en voor de Democratische Volksrepubliek Korea vanuit Berlijn. Beide Staten behouden zich voor ook diplomaten met standplaats in andere hoofdsteden in de regio te accredieteren.
